Are you a growing follower of Jesus? Are you maturing as a follower of Jesus? It’s not hard to know and it’s not hard for the people nearest to you to discern. It’s all about the fruit you produce.
Whether we realize it or not, much of our character is influenced by the people closest to us. Building Godly character means making sure that the people in our inner circles are going to be people that point us towards Christ and encourage us to live like Christ.
Our Blueprints series is about building godly character. How we deal with sin and temptations determines a lot of what we are building. Our character is on display in what we do and what we don’t do.
Our thoughts our powerful. The more you think and reflect upon something the larger impact it will have on your daily choices, behavior and actions. It’s important that we guard our hearts and minds and do not allow them to be overrun by thoughts that lead us away from the God’s daily desires for our lives.
Our goal as a church is to move people to become fully developing followers of Christ. We believe church membership is vital to a person fully developing as a follower of Christ. Today you will have opportunity to take a step toward membership. What does it mean to be a part of a church family?
God didn’t create us to live life in seclusion. Life was and is meant to live in community. We are all a part of different communities: at work, in school, in the neighborhood, interest groups. But the most important community you’ll ever be a part of is a biblical community…a group of people who gather regularly for bible study, accountability, prayer, encouragement, activity, and ministry.
