There is a temptation to confine Jesus to the New Testament. In reality, all Scripture is a testimony to Christ. He the focus of divine revelation throughout the word of God. Today as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we find Christ exalted throughout Psalm 22.
Today we’ll do some “Thanksgiving” in July. Thankfulness may be the most unique part of a believer’s testimony to Christ in our current dissatisfied and critical world. Psalm 100 turns our hearts toward God and we find much for which to be thankful.
Sin has become one of those “church words” that has lost its power in our lives. We tend to minimize the effects of sin in our lives and in our relationship with God. The truth is, sin separates us from God. Sin is always wrong, and it is always offensive to a Holy God. Thankfully, we have a God who loves us and wants to take away our sin…all our sin.

When we look at others and compare ourselves to what we assume is their “good life,” we can feel discontented, unsatisfied, and even worse - we can feel like we’re no good. But God never meant for us to live our lives looking to be like others but to be like Him.
