Why God's Word Matters

What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?

Your Work Matters to God

When we think about being missionaries, we often think about some faraway country. Your mission field is likely much closer. Wherever God has placed you for most of your days is certainly a mission field to be reached for Christ. Your work matters to God.

Look to the Lord Jesus

What are you facing that seems insurmountable? Too much? Out of control? When we look around us, we may find many things that fit that list. Know that your hope or loss of hope will be tied to where you look. As John concludes the first chapter of Revelation, he calls us to look to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Partners

In Revelation 1:9, John describes himself as a “brother and partner” with the seven churches who would receive the Revelation. They were also partners with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They were also partners with one another. We thank the Lord we are never alone.

The Big Reveal

We are beginning a walk through the first chapter of Revelation this month. Our series is called Reveal. The Revelation describes earthly events from a heavenly perspective. While there are many things we’ll learn, every week we will find encouragement from the Lord for life, ministry, and eternity.

Desperate

Where you are matters. Where you’re going matters, everything about you matters to us, and everything about you matters to God. Worship with us Sundays Online. Together we can make our lives matter for a greater purpose.

A Failure Not Final

This week our Intersection series brings us to the last supper and focuses on two disciples, Peter and Judas. Both failed but one “failed forward” and the other “fell away”. We will look at their stories and our own stories in relationship to Jesus. We will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. “They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly” (2 Timothy 3:5, NLT)

When Life Seems Out of Control

Our Intersections series brings us to the account of the woman caught in adultery. Her life was out of control. She had committed adultery. She was on trial for her sin. She was a pawn in a bigger game. She was powerless. Then, Jesus entered her story and He brought order to disorder and hope to the hopeless. He can do it for you too.
