Title Or Towel? You Choose

We are continuing our summer sermon series titled “Rediscover Jesus”. Today we are looking at a familiar event in the life of Jesus and His disciples. Jesus was coming to the end of His earthly ministry and He seized an opportunity to remind His disciples (and us) about His mission and our calling to follow Him.

Outside The Box

NOTE: Please watch the videos below before you listen to the message. When you say the word “evangelism” in church, several people cringe or run the other way. Why is that? Why is evangelism a scary word to some people? Today we’re going to look at a conversation that Jesus had with Nicodemus that will serve as a model for us as we take another look at sharing the Good News.

Questions

Today we will spend time with a political figure named Pilate. In his encounter with Jesus that led to the cross, Pilate asked a series of questions. Most certainly, it was Pilate who was on trial before Jesus. Some questions in life, we all have to answer. "And Pilate again said to them, 'Then what shall I do with the man you call the King of the Jews?'" (Mark 15:12, ESV)

Don't Move

NOTE: Watch the video first, then listen to the sermon audio. We continue our summer series entitled “Rediscover Jesus”. Today we focus on Jesus’s command to “abide in him”. Jesus wanted His disciples, and us, to know that the life He has called us to is only possible when someone is firmly implanted in Him.

It's Not That Simple

We are continuing our summer series “Rediscover Jesus.” Today we are looking at an encounter Jesus had with man who had suffered for most of his life. Jesus asks this man a peculiar and somewhat obvious question, or so it would seem.

What's In A Name

Today in Rediscover Jesus we will follow Jesus’ “development” work in the life of Simon Peter. What does the Lord want to develop in you?

Jesus Loves The Little Children (2015)

Today begins a new summer series called Rediscover Jesus. Over the next weeks we will walk with Jesus through encounters with a variety of men and women in the Bible. Through this journey we will come to see God and ourselves more clearly. Today we see the priority Jesus placed on children.

Good News - God's Grace

Where do you stand today in relationship to God through Christ? Would you describe it as hot, warm, or cold? Your relationship to Jesus Christ is like any other relationship. It has to be maintained. What does that process look like over time?

Religious Freedom

On a Memorial Day weekend we remember those who serve our nation and who have given their lives to preserve and protect our freedoms. Today we explore our religious freedoms and our responsibilities to government and to God.

Decisions, Decisions

Life is all about choices and the decisions we make. Sometimes they have little consequence. Sometimes the consequence may be significant. Today we discuss making decisions based on godly wisdom.
