Paid in Full

Wouldn’t it be great to have someone come along and pay off all your debts? Do you feel buried under a load of debt? On this Easter Sunday discover the power of the cross and the risen Savior. Our greatest debt has been PAID IN FULL.

The story of Judas Iscariot is the story of a wasted life. He had every opportunity to choose well and yet, rejected Jesus Christ. How is it possible to be so close and still miss relationship to Jesus and eternity in heaven. It happens all the time. Pray for today as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper and focus our hearts on the Savior.

Today we meet another man who was just a “face in the crowd.” In a moment, his whole life changed as he was enlisted to carry the cross of Christ to the place of execution. Has Jesus ever interrupted your life?

Jesus... Who Died for Me

Today our series “Faces in the Crowd” leads us to Barabbas. Jesus died on a cross intended for this known criminal. None of Barabbas’ words are recorded in the Bible but his experience is common for all sinners – Jesus died for us. What can we learn from a fellow-sinner?

Our new children’s building is beginning to take shape. A successful construction project requires a firm foundation. Today we take a Sunday to celebrate what God has been doing in our church family and the foundations being laid.

When Religion Rules

Today we continue our series of sermons “Faces in the Crowd.” We will spend time with a variety of biblical characters who encountered Jesus in the hours surrounding the cross. Today we look at one of the most religious men Jesus would ever encounter. His name was Caiaphas and he was the high priest. He reminds us that religious people can be living far from God.

Pontius Pilate

In one moment, Pontius Pilate found himself having to make a decision about what to do with Jesus Christ. There were many influencers at work and ultimately the decision to have Jesus Christ crucified was made. Today we will get a good look at Pontius Pilate and from his situation see what we can learn about making the right decision when it’s our turn to do so.

Final Destinations

There are certain topics in the Bible we enjoy talking about. We jump into discussion about God’s love, grace, forgiveness and mercy with enthusiasm. Most people like to talk about heaven too. On the other hand, there are topics we would like to avoid completely. Today we explore the biblical reality of a place called “hell."

Secure for Eternity

It is a hotly debated question – Can you wake in the morning with heaven as your eternal destination but go to bed that night without such eternal security? Can you lose your salvation? What does the Bible teach?

Unwavering

Most people seem to think God’s greatest responsibility is to make their lives problem-free. Most professing Christians only begrudgingly attempt to live for Christ. Many are unwilling to be inconvenienced for Christ. Few would give their lives for Christ. Today’s “hot potato” sermon topic looks at the biblical description of the Christian life as suffering for the cause of Christ.
