The news feeds have been littered with “famous” couples whose marriages are ending. There are a multitude of reasons behind these divorces but one thing we all need to remember is this: good marriages don’t just happen…it takes work. We know that principle to be true in other areas in our lives but for some reason, we feel like we can put our marriages on the back burner but then act shocked or surprised when they grow cold or stale. There is a common enemy to all marriages and in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians we learn how to combat that enemy. Hint: it takes work! Read: Ephesians 4:1-3

There’s a lie that individuals and families sometimes fall for...it’s the lie that focuses more on our happiness and less on our Godliness. God desires for us to have joy, but it’s a joy found in Him, not in everything working out our way. In many ways life is beginning to return to “normal”. In our Family Reboot series, we are looking at habits and routines that we should leave behind. This is a great season to set new patterns and priorities for our families and looking at “our stuff” may be a good place to start. Jesus told 38 parables, and one-third of them dealt with possessions. How we deal with “stuff” is a reflection of our hearts and spiritual health.

On Palm Sunday, we catch a glimpse of a group watching Christ make his triumphal entry into Jerusalem. This Sunday we will explore the various people you would have seen in the crowd that day.
As we look at the man Judas Iscariot we see a life wasted. We see someone who had the greatest of opportunities. He walked with Jesus for three years, day in and day out, yet he missed it. How can we know about Jesus, be near Jesus, but miss Jesus? It happens all the time.
