Who's On First? -

How can we live the life God created us to live and experience the joy and purpose He desires for us? The first commandment gets us started in the right direction.

The Game of Life

Over the next several weeks, we’ll explore “ten guidelines” for living life well. These are commonly known as the Ten Commandments. They are God’s basic guidelines for individuals, families, and societies to experience the fulfillment and purpose that God intends in relationship to Him and in relationship to our world.

Cost of Discipleship

To be a disciple is to carry the name of Christ. When we carry with us the name of Christ, it should make a difference in how we walk through life.

Is It Real?

John wrote this letter we call First John with a purpose, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13). In our series on the Lordship of Christ we discover that Lordship provides several layers of assurance of salvation. You can be sure that it’s real.

The Name Above All Names

What does “Jesus is Lord” mean to you? Does it mean that Jesus is significant? Does it mean He has a place at the bargaining table of your priorities? “Lord” means more than that. It means He is in control. It means He sets the agenda. It means He makes the rules. It means His purposes prevail. It means He is Master and sovereign over all, in all, above all. He’s Lord if you choose to follow Him and no less Lord if you deny Him. The Bible promises that the day will come when very knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Today is a great day to make it so.

You Belong to God

One of the key elements to understanding what the Bible says about Lordship is getting a good handle on the Bible’s idea of ownership. If we are to live the “ALL IN” life, we must understand that it all belongs to God.

The Normal Christian Life

How do you define “normal”? Most of us define it as whatever and however we do things in our lives – that’s normal. When it comes to our spiritual lives, “normal” needs meaningful and biblical definition. The Apostle Paul will help us better understand a “normal” Christian life.

Are You "All In"?

Over the next several weeks we will focus on the meaning of Lordship. What does it really mean for Jesus to be “Lord” of your life? What does that look like in real life application?

Life@Work

On this Labor Day weekend we will spend time with the biblical couple, Aquila and Priscilla. Their example will provide direction for us as we explore the intersection of our work and our service to the Lord.

Checklist for Spiritual Growth

Are you a growing believer in Christ? Are you becoming more spiritually mature? We all need some means of measuring our relationship to God. As we begin a new season of church ministry, let’s take some time for reflection.
