What will be different about your new year? Change, improvement, and growth will never happen without a plan. A plan will never be accomplished unless you begin. Habits are formed by consistent behavior over time. What choices will you make?
The Bible tells us that at “just the right time” Jesus came. Our hope in this messy world is found in the truth that Jesus is still showing up at just the right time with just what we need. He is our hope.
Today we will share the story of a man named Zacchaeus who one day encountered Jesus. His life was never the same again. His life was a mess and through Jesus, all things were made new. Why did Jesus come? The reason given in the Zacchaeus story is this, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10, ESV). He still comes seeking.
Our world and our lives can get pretty messy. During the Christmas season we celebrate Jesus coming into our messy world to give us hope. He consistently moved toward the messy in His ministry. He calls us to follow His grace-filled example.

Today we begin moving toward the Christmas season with a new series – Messy Christmas. The same is true for life. It’s messy. The good news of the Christmas story is that Jesus came into this messy world and He enters our messy lives bringing hope and help.
We’ve all heard it and we may have even said it, “because I said so!” God has every right to say, “because I said so” but instead, as we will see in Psalm 100, He gives us the “why” behind the “what”. Let’s make some noise…because God said so and because it’s an appropriate response to Him and His truth.
Marginalization is the process of pushing a particular group or groups of people to the edge of society. There are both direct and indirect processes that don’t allow them an active place in it.
We often talk about prayer and ask for prayer and express our intent to pray. Today we will talk about prayer and fasting for the lostness of people we love and for the desperate needs of our lives. We have also reserved significant time in our worship hours to pray for those needs.
Knowing what is in the Father's Heart is key to knowing what we are to do with our lives. Come learn what consumes the Father's Heart.
