Faith > Our Fears

Fears are a common part of life. The Bible doesn’t sugar-coat life. Fears are expressed throughout the Scriptures. God recognizes our fears and He calls us to trust Him. Faith in God is always greater than our fears.

The Cross > Our Sin

This morning we are going to talk about a phrase Jesus spoke that was probably one of the most powerful things he ever said and it carries amazing implications for us today. We are sinners but the good news is that the cross of Jesus Christ is greater than any and all of our sin.

Worship>Worry

Today we begin a new series. There is plenty to worry about for most of us. Tomorrow early voting starts. It’s a reminder of the greater worries around us. Today we want to be reminded that worship is greater than our greatest worries.

Reaching Out To Your Relational World

It’s Week 5 of our Be the Church Challenge. In the first church, in Acts 2, we find a people relentlessly devoted to reaching the spiritually lost people around them. The church loved Jesus and loved one another. Those priorities moved them to have a compassion for the spiritually lost and a passion to tell them about their Savior, Jesus.

What Will You Invest Your Life In?

It’s Week 4 of our Be the Church Challenge. In the first church (Acts 2) they put their time, their talents, and their treasures together to do something powerful—something that has lasted from that day until now. They invested in eternal things, managing well what God had entrusted to them. How are doing as a steward of all God has entrusted to you?
