The Church Challenge

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. Think what a local church would look like if its people were radically devoted to Christ, irrevocably committed to each other, and relentlessly dedicated to reaching those outside God’s family with the gospel of Christ. That’s what “church” looked like in Acts 2. Over the next several weeks, we’ll encourage one another to move beyond just going to church. We want to BE THE CHURCH.

Putting First Things First

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. The Book of Haggai, the second shortest in the Old Testament, communicates this message: Put first things first. As we move into the fall, how can we set our priorities to make a consistent difference in our world and honor our God?

The Truth About Hell

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. Today in our God Talks series we take on a topic most would rather skip over. It’s the first biblical doctrine to be deleted when folks begin to discount the authority of the Bible. The reason we must talk about it is because Jesus talked about it. He is most prolific teacher in the Bible on the doctrine of hell. He said more about hell than heaven. What did Jesus have to say and what does it mean for us?

Living In God's Amazing Grace

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. In light of what Jesus Christ has done for us, what should be our response? What do I owe Jesus Christ? I owe Him the rest of my life! I owe Him the past, the present, the future – everything. What does it mean to live in God’s amazing grace.

Give God Your "Yes"

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. Jesus says that a proof of our love for Him is obeying his commands. Obedience to God is the call for all people. His desire is for all to know Him and to follow Him. He wants our “yes”. This morning we are going to take a look at God’s call on Abraham’s life and what we can learn from Abraham’s response.

Good News About Grace

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. The biblical teaching of grace may be the most counter-cultural teaching in the Bible. It runs against our “earn it” and “deserve it” way of thinking about relationship to God. Yet, apart from grace we can never have a relationship with God. God has good news for you today.

Believe

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. Why? That’s the question that is on almost everyone’s mind when we see pain and suffering in the world. The question becomes more intense when we experience it firsthand. We want to know the reason. We want to know why God would allow it. Instead of looking for the “why” it’s important that we examine what we believe…about God and ourselves.

Prayer 101

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. Prayer is talking to God. Sounds simple but many Christians struggle with how to pray, what to pray, and even why we should pray. Jesus gave us a great model to follow when we pray. This morning we are going to look at that prayer and discover or rediscover what it teaches us about how and why we should pray.

Avoiding Election Infection

See video of the sermon by clicking on the link below. For many of us, this has been an unsettling election season. It seems the choices are more challenging than ever for Bible-believing, Christ-followers. Today, I want to share with you how I intend to cast my vote and influence.

The Bible Tells Me So

If we are to live in right relationship with God, there are certain foundational issues to be settled. Some are core biblical teachings and some will be big life questions.
