Does your Christian life demonstrate integrity? Is your declared relationship to Jesus Christ clearly reflected to others by the life you live day to day? This morning we will discover three key measures of a believer’s integrity.

The Hope of Easter 2012

Happy Easter Sunday! We all need hope. Today we celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ over sin and death. What better place to find hope than with Jesus – the One who overcame death itself. With Him, all things are possible.

One Week

Today, in preparation for the Lord’s Supper, we will walk through the last week of Jesus’s life. How did He spend His time. What did He do? What was important? What lessons can we learn from one week in the life of the Savior?

Our God of Grace

In the first verses of Genesis 3 sin enters the world. “Paradise” is replaced with “curse.” Fellowship is replaced with brokenness. Today we see God’s response to sinners living in a sinful word. His word to us is still the message of grace.

Just Like Me

Often we look at the men and women in the bible and we elevate them to a place of spiritual superiority. We believe that they were extraordinary and that it is impossible for us to match up. The truth is, they were just like us. Peter, one of the original twelve, struggled just like we do. The great news is, despite our shortcomings, God is still in the business of using ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

The Voice

We are constantly receiving information. Through television, music, Internet, and print we are bombarded with an overwhelming amount of facts, opinions, advice, data, counsel, and instruction. These are “voices” that are competing for our time and attention. Many of those voices can also distract us from the voice of God. This morning we will look at several voices and how their messages contradict God’s message to us.

The Fall

The third chapter of Genesis is key to understanding the broken world we live in. Today we learn about the tempter, temptation, and sin. We also find that God is a Redeemer of sinners.

The Rest of God

At the end of His creative work of six days, the Bible says God rested from His work. By God’s example and teaching we are called to set aside a day each week for the Lord. Why should we do this and what is the purpose of the “Sabbath.”

The Image of God

There are plenty of lesser, demeaning, devaluing descriptions of human life – your life. We struggle when we view ourselves through a sinful world’s lens. Today we focus on God’s description of you. We are created in the “image of God.” What does that mean for our lives?

God Created

The first verse of the Bible teaches us that God is the Creator. Today we will explore the significance of this important biblical doctrine.
