Our new series is titled, “WHY?” The last year and a half have been a time of questioning everything – institutions like schools, government entities, healthcare, and a host of cultural issues. In our series we’re going to talk about “WHY?” we do what we do and believe what we believe as a church ministry. This week we focus on “WHY” we seek to relate to God as we do. It’s the “WHY” of theology.
Wisdom: knowing God’s word and choosing to obey it. Foolishness: knowing God’s word and choosing to ignore it. God gives us wisdom. He makes it available to us. The choice is ours whether we apply it or not. What does it look like to walk in wisdom when it comes to our families and our relationships?
There are few biblical stories that are as well-known as the story of the flood and Noah and the ark. The Bible paints the picture of Noah as a man living a Godly life that was much different than his surrounding culture. His example has much to teach Christ-followers today.
The church culture that we live in really values marriage. And that is a good thing. We should value marriage. God values marriage. It is a focus here in our church. But what can happen sometimes, unintentionally, is that with so much focus on marriage, we can communicate that being single means that you’re “less than” or singleness is “not enough.” The reality is that God calls everyone and equips everyone to accomplish his purpose in this world. So as a single adult, here are some important reminders.
Life is a process of aging. In Psalm 71 we find direction for aging well. Sunday we will learn how to run the race of life well and finish well, honoring the Lord.

This week we begin Vacation Bible School 2021. The next generation is important to the Lord and must be important to God’s people. Today we will meet five women from Exodus 1 who valued children and changed the world.
There is a generation of kids that are watching us. They watch what we do, read what we post, and listen to what we say. What are they seeing? What would they say is most important to us? Who or what would they say is "KING" in our lives? This generation is looking for meaning and purpose, and it's our responsibility to make sure they know that it's found only in Christ. But more than helping them to know it, we have to make sure to show it. How do we show Jesus is King in our lives?
