Advent at First

In a world that feels hurried and uncertain, Advent invites us to pause and remember what is certain: Jesus has come, and He will come again. This season draws us to the wonder of His birth and the hope of His promises.

Christmas at FBC is a time to rediscover the joy that meets us in every circumstance, the peace that calms our hearts, and the love that reaches farther than our failures. It’s a season to be amazed again at God’s goodness and to see His light breaking into our darkness.

Join us as we celebrate the One who brings hope to the weary, joy to the broken, peace to the restless, and love to all who believe. Come and experience the story that changes every story.

Jesus, our Savior and King.

Christmas Eve at First

Celebrate the beauty and wonder of Christmas with us as we gather for a traditional Candlelight Service filled with beloved Christmas hymns and the warmth of community. Together we’ll remember the night Christ was born, the light that shines in the darkness, and the hope that still transforms hearts today.

Service Times:
Wednesday, December 24 / 4 PM & 6 PM

This is a time for the whole family to worship together. While no childcare will be provided, we’ll have activity bags available for kids of all ages to help them enjoy this meaningful night. As we close the evening by candlelight, may the light of Christ guide us into Christmas with peace and joy.

Christmas at First

Devotional

Traditionally, Advent is a four-week season on the Christian calendar dedicated to preparing our hearts for Christmas Day and the celebration of the birth of Jesus! Advent means "coming." Similar to those who awaited the arrival of the Messiah over 2,000 years ago, in this Advent season, we await the celebration of Jesus' birth and anticipate His coming again one day. The Advent Season is a wonderful time to intentionally connect with your family. Here's a great guide to prepare your heart for Christmas.
