Outreach
But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
— 1 John 3:17-18
ABOUT
Outreach is about sharing hope, meeting needs and building relationships with our community. Our goal is to create opportunities for you to show Jesus’ love by connecting with people where they are. These encounters leave a lasting impact not only on those we reach but on those who serve as well.
NO PLace Left
God is using His people to share the gospel message to those in our community. It's easier than you think! Training opportunities are offered on a regular basis.
"Jesus said to them, 'Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men,'" Mark 1:17.
LEARN MORE
You are invited to join us as we use tried and true outreach methods in our community. You will learn how to share the gospel with those around you each day, then put it into practice. Prayer partners are also needed. Breakfast and lunch are provided during training. Please RSVP.
For more information, contact Heather Winchester.
Food Pantry

I NEED GROCERIES

Tuesday 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Wednesday 6:00-7:30 p.m.

homebound
Reaching out to adults who are homebound and are no longer able to attend church. We provide a hug, a smile, and warm conversation on a regular basis.
LEARN MORE
Volunteers help keep in touch with our members who are homebound. These are usually older adults and are no longer able to attend church for various reasons. Some cannot walk or sit for long periods of time or may be confined to a wheelchair. Many of our homebound live in their own homes, some live with family, while others live in senior living centers. These members are a very important part of our church family. Now is the time to show your appreciation to those who can no longer serve by serving them.
For more information, please contact Jimmy Smith.
Transportation
On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, we provide transportation to members who live in local senior living communities as a service to them and to allow them to attend worship and have fellowship with their Sunday morning small groups. Volunteer drivers and bus assistants serve every 4-5 weeks.
We also are building a network of volunteers who are available throughout the week to transport members to medical appointments upon request.

SPECIAL FRIENDS parents' night out
Children are a blessing and a heritage from the Lord. Parents Night Out provides care, friendship, and guided activities for grade-school-age children and their siblings free of charge so their parents and caregivers can enjoy a night out.
I NEED A NIGHT OUT
Parents' Night Out is offered once a month during the school year. Grade school-age children, along with their siblings, are invited to The Curb (Student Center) for a time of music, games, movies, and snacks. Each child is paired with a youth “Buddy” for the evening. Buddies help in whatever way needed. Adults provide leadership and supervision at all times.
Reservations are required. For more information, contact Cindy Edamura.
