Final Report from Asia

For security purposes, we are not disclosing this team's location.

We had our victory rally on our final night. We had 1,869 people make a profession of faith. On our last day here, Pastor V and 6 people from his church went to the prison. They had 7 sets of gospel pictures and split up. Most of the inmates accepted Christ. The prison warden invited Pastor V to come back 4 times a year. Our team collected money to buy a chicken dish meal for the prisoners. The prisoners hadn’t had meat for at least one year. The home visits we made were too many to count. We were able to cover a lot of ground. Our prayer is for the Pastors & their churches to continue the work. We are also praying for the people that didn’t accept Christ’s free gift of salvation. We pray they wouldn’t stop thinking about what we shared with them. That they would cry out to God. One young man accepted Christ a year ago. He is very active in the church. His family is Buddhist. They are very angry at him and trying to make things very difficult for him. He looked defeated tonight. Our team is praying for him. Many hearts have changed this week but sadly Buddhism has a stronghold in this country. Our hearts hurt & grieve for the lost. We are thankful we were able to plant seeds. One Pastor brought 2 rows worth of new believers to the rally. Discipleship is already happening. Praise God. Thank you all again for praying. The Lord of Hosts protected us. He opened door after door for us.

Monday, Oct 30: The team arrived back in DFW around 12:30 a.m. Thank you again for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for Pastor V and the others who remain to reach others and to disciple these new believers.
