
Our ministry for mature adults is known as Cornerstone. First Baptist Church Allen provides ministry and opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth to our growing senior adult community. Along with monthly trips and special activities, below are a number of ministries. Most activities for mature adults take place in Building E (see map).

Developed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services to educate and involve older Texans and their families. Proper nutrition and daily physical activity are the best investments you can make for better health. No fancy gear or health club dues. Texercise is free and open to the community. Worship Together Ministry: Sundays | 10:45 a.m. | local residential communities (expand/collapse)
Our Worship Together Ministry provides weekly worship services for residents at local senior living centers who are no longer able to attend a church service. Services are provided every Sunday with a teacher, music leader and greeter. Volunteers rotate every 4-5 weeks. For more information, contact Darel Stokes.
Need a ride?
Anyone living at the Waterford Gardens, Parkview Retirement Center, Country Lane, Grand Texan, Grand Reserve Lodge, and Chase Oaks Senior Community can contact Larry Kelly to arrange a ride to our church services on Sunday, our Wednesday night fellowship meals and special on site events for seniors.
